This Privacy Policy describes how POWERENGINE PTE. LIMITED (“BeforeNoise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the BeforeNoise website at https://storiesbeforenoise.com/ (the “Site”).

BeforeNoise is a public bargain directory. The Site lists third-party offers and links you to the merchant’s website. You do not need an account to use the Site. The Site does not take payment.

This Policy is published as a web page at https://storiesbeforenoise.com/privacy-policy. The same address is the privacy policy link for this application.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use the Site.

Visit data, collected automatically

IP address and the approximate location derived from it
browser type, device type, operating system, and language
the page that referred you, the pages you view, and the date and time
which offers you view or click
cookie identifiers named in Section 5

Messages you send us

If you email hola003x@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the message you write.

Purchases

A purchase happens on the merchant’s website after you leave the Site. The merchant collects the information needed for that order. We do not collect your payment card number, delivery address, or merchant password.

We use the information in Section 2 to:

operate the Site and show offers
measure which pages and offers are used
attribute a click on an outbound offer so we can receive an affiliate commission
protect the Site from abuse
reply to email you send us
comply with law

4. Google user data

This section describes how this application accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data. We limit our use of Google user data to the practices in this section.

Google user data we access

The Site does not offer “Sign in with Google.” We do not request access to your Google Account. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Photos, or Google Ads account, and we do not take any action in those products on your behalf.

The only Google user data processed through the Site is the visit data that Google Analytics receives when you load a page. The measurement ID is G-J0GGBB1WEH. That data is:

a cookie identifier (_ga and _ga_J0GGBB1WEH)
IP address
browser and device information
pages viewed on the Site and the time of the visit

How we use Google user data

We use Google Analytics data only to measure how the Site is used, to understand which pages are reached, and to detect errors and abuse. These uses provide and improve the Site that you are using.

We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, personalized advertising, retargeted advertising, or interest-based advertising. We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer Google user data to data brokers or information resellers. We do not use Google user data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

How we store Google user data

Google stores the Analytics data described above so that it can provide measurement to us. We do not copy Google Account content onto our own servers, because we do not access Google Account content. Access to the Google Analytics property is limited to people who operate the Site.

With whom we share Google user data

We share the visit data listed above with Google for the single purpose of providing Google Analytics to us. We do not transfer Google user data to advertising networks so that those networks can advertise to you. We may disclose Google user data if a law, court order, or government request requires it, or if disclosure is necessary to investigate abuse of the Site.

Our employees, contractors, and service providers who can reach this data may use it only as this section allows.

How long we keep Google user data, and how to delete it

We keep Google Analytics data only for as long as we need it to measure and protect the Site. When that purpose ends, it is deleted or de-identified. You may request deletion by emailing hola003x@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my data.” Because the Site has no user account, include the approximate date of your visit so we can locate the data. We will delete the information we can identify from your request. You can also delete the _ga cookies in your browser, and you can stop Google Analytics measurement with Google’s opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If we ever need to use Google user data for a purpose that this section does not describe, we will update this Policy first and we will not use the data for that new purpose until the updated Policy is posted.

How we protect Google user data

The Site is served over HTTPS. Access to the Analytics property and to the privacy mailbox is limited to the people who need it to operate the Site and to answer requests. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

zmq_state is not Google user data and does not read your Google Account. You can block or delete either cookie in your browser. The Site still shows offers if you block cookies.

6. Affiliate links

“View Deal” leaves the Site and opens the merchant. Current links go to AliExpress affiliate URLs, including s.click.aliexpress.com, with a BeforeNoise tracking parameter. AliExpress then collects information under its own privacy policy: https://terms.alicdn.com/legal-agreement/terms/suit_bu1_aliexpress/suit_bu1_aliexpress201909171350_82407.html.

We may receive a report of the click and of a completed purchase so the commission can be calculated. That report is not Google user data. We do not receive your card number or delivery address.

7. How we share other information

Apart from the Google user data rules in Section 4, we share Site information with:

service providers who host the Site and protect it from abuse
the affiliate program and merchant named in Section 6, when you click an offer
the measurement technology that sets zmq_state, for the use named in Section 5
authorities and professional advisers when disclosure is required by law or is needed to protect users, the public, or us
a buyer of the Site, if we sell or transfer the business that operates it

We do not share your information so that an unrelated company can send you its own email.

8. How long we keep information

We keep each category only for the purpose described in this Policy. When the purpose is finished, we delete it or de-identify it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

9. How we protect information

We use HTTPS for the Site and we limit access to the tools and mailbox that hold visitor information and privacy requests. You should use a current browser. Transmission over the internet is not perfectly secure.

10. Children

The Site is a general-audience directory. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email hola003x@gmail.com and we will delete it.

11. Your choices and requests

You may email hola003x@gmail.com to:

ask what information we hold about a visit
ask us to correct an email you sent us
ask us to delete information, using the subject line “Delete my data”
appeal a decision, by replying with the subject line “Privacy Appeal”

We may ask for the approximate time of the visit so we can match the request to data that has no account name attached. We will not refuse you access to the Site because you made a request.

You can also control cookies in your browser and use the Google Analytics opt-out linked in Section 4.

California residents. In this Policy we describe the categories we collect: identifiers (such as IP address and cookie IDs), internet activity (pages and offer clicks), and approximate location derived from an IP address. We use them for the purposes in Section 3 and disclose them to the parties in Sections 4, 5, and 7. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not share Google user data for cross-context behavioral advertising. To ask about other Site data, email hola003x@gmail.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”

EEA and United Kingdom. Where the GDPR applies, POWERENGINE PTE. LIMITED is the controller for the Site. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of information you provided, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests in operating and measuring the Site. You may complain to your local supervisory authority.

12. Changes to this Policy

We will post any change on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If we change how we use Google user data, we will update this Policy before we use Google user data for the new purpose.
